Jörgen Sjunnesson wins more and more. In 2019 he won 60 races in total and at home at Jägersro he is now third in the league. Before him he has only Thomas Uhrberg and last year's champion Joakim Lövgren. But Sjunnesson has also won races in both Denmark and Germany this year. Last year he was so successful there that he won more races there than at home in Sweden.
A recent report from the Nordic Traverse Museum in Årjäng now reports Jörgen Sjunnesson's victories since he entered the Thousand Club on August 12, 2005 in Kalmar. After reconciliation with the German and Danish allies, Jörgen Sjunnesson has until March 23 this year won 2,024 victories as a rider. At New Year he stood at 2,012 and his victory 2,000 was taken (unfortunately without attention) with Olivia Cheri in Halmstad on October 21 last year.
- I have had 2,000 wins as a goal over a period and I am just happy to have managed to compile all the victories, says Jörgen Sjunnesson before packing the bag and heading to Jägersro which has competitions today.
Jörgen has triumphed with the world star Revenue. A month after Lutfi Kolgjini won the Nat Ray Trot in 2004 at the Meadowlands in New York, Jörgen won with him in Canada.
Another big star Jörgen got to run is Maharajah. The race in June when the horse was four years old. Jörgen is the only one to win the victory with Maharajah, except for Örjan Kihlström, who was a regular pitcher.
Jörgen occasionally drove Triton Sund. The couple won the Sundsvall Open Trot, among other things, in 2008 and was awarded SEK 1 million! Triton also ran Jörgen in the Elite race final in 2009 and in Canada that year.
- I take care and send a thank you to all the trainers and other horse people. It is thanks to you that I have been able to ride so many fine horses and got to experience so much joy, says Jörgen Sjunnesson.
Human Behavior, Sahara Shadow, Krossed Out, Hot Shot Knick, Intoxicated and Soutwind Mozart are examples of stars that Sjunnesson won.
- I have never had a big stall behind me, but I have had an enormous number of clients over the years Jörgen finishes before packing the bag for a new trotting day at Jägersro.
